      About the best dual hybrid

It prefers a good bit of power for the bass to have proper impact, but I can't think of any IEM that is a better deal for the price, and I still have about 150 others. I also have the Sony XBA-H1, which The Wirecutter website thought the best deal for an under $200 category of IEMs before that was discontinued. The CM5 is still better.

Sound much more expensive than they are.

These are really good sounding earphones. They have deep powerful bass, clear detailed mids and smooth treble. The soundstage is really good as well. Comfort of these is excellent. Probably the most comfortable I own and I own many including several pairs costing 20x as much. I learned about these on headfi.com. There are many rave reviews on them. I have given these as gifts as well and the packaging and accessories are very impressive. They do not sound or feel like budget IEM's.

      They sound great!

The sound quality and design are on point! The only con I have for this product is the loops that wrap around your ear as they are not the most secure. However, this is worth the purchase, and the case you can store them in is handy.

The Can of Chicken Soup of Budget IEMs

For $24.99 this is one of the most comfortable IEM/Earphones I've ever owned. The best thing about them is the fit and comfort. As far as the sound, they're very good for the price and especially great as a daily beater for audio books, youtube videos and casually watching movies or using them for workouts while listening to music. If you want these for critical listening of music and wish to be astounded, these probably aren't it. The sound profile is V-shaped yet it's not too extreme. Wide bore tips will make them less bass-y (which I prefer). The provided tips aren't bad but tip rolling might be good if you're still interested in getting the most out of them. I still give them 5 stars because they're so comfortable. When it comes to IEMs, it's my can of chicken soup.

      Great for the gym!

I own a variety of earphones (my favorites are the iBasso IT01 and Etymotic ER3XR) and I was looking for a budget pair for use in the gym. These are perfect for that purpose! They take a bit of "tip rolling" to get the perfect seal but once it's achieved, the sound quality is excellent for the price. Bass is strong but not overpowering, mids are clear and present, and highs are not sibilant. I would describe the sound signature as slightly V-shaped. The cable is lightweight and transmits very little microphonics, making it a great choice for working out. Very pleased with my purchase!
